Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients:

1 c. margarine
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
3-1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 c. mashed bananas
1 c. chopped nuts


Instructions:

Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla and lemon juice. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture. Fold in nuts. Pour in 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Source: Joyce Powers Francis
