Butter Nut Chewies

Ingredients:

2 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 t. vanilla
1-1/2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 c. finely chopped nuts.

Instructions:

Beat eggs 'til foamy. Beat in brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and set aside. Add flour mixture to egg mixture and blend in mixer at low speed. Stir in nuts. Spread in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or til top is light brown . Cool 10 - 15 minutes. Cut into bars. Makes 24. Source: Loretta Lynn
